John Andrews Lot

Cemetery WG025 in Rhode Island Historical Cemetery Commission Database. Built up to 24 inches with a fine stone wall, then filled in with dirt. No evidence of grave stones. Remains removed to Knotty Oak Cemetery, Coventry in 1896; see WG council records. 30 Oct. 1896, John Matteson, Nelson Andrews, and Halsy J. Briggs [H/O Jane Andrews] had leave to disinter and remove from this town the remains of their children and relatives now buried here. John Andrews died in 1896 and probably precipitated the purchase of a family plot in Woodland Cemetery in Coventry.
